Zechariah 14:1-21
Vision: The Coming Reign
Summary: Christ will reign. All nations must come and serve Him at the feast of Tabernacles.
Explanation: Probably a coming state for national Israel. They will receive Messiah, and a new order will be brought in, as Paul called it “life from the dead” in Romans 11. Must refer to the future, because it is said that every pot in Jerusalem will be holy to the Lord. Still, it could be somewhat symbolic, with its reference to the Feast of Tabernacles. This need not be the actual feast of tabernacles, as those are but the shadow. Rather, the fullness of the manifestation of the Sons of God, with God indwelling men, is in view.
